GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING ARTICLES
TFG looks for varied articles that covers the vast interests of members and are relevant to FFGC's mission. Articles should be informational, educational, entertaining, and should include links to additional resources, further reading, or that connect with the article content. Topics should be cleared with the Editor first and submitted through District Directors. The Editor has the right (and responsibility) to edit for clarity, grammar, and readability.
Photographs are encouraged; however, if they are pixelated (blurry), TFG cannot enlarge them beyond a postage stamp. Images are made of tiny little dots. The best resolution is 300 dpi (dots per inch) with 600 dpi being even better. A photograph is typically sized 400x600 pixels. Anything less than 400 pixels on either side will be grainy and blurry. If you are unsure how to resize your own photo, please submit the large one as we can resize it for you, but we cannot make a bad photo better. Be sure your camera or phone are set to a minimum of 400x600. That size will be okay for a quarter page picture, but not for a cover photo. Covers should be over 1,000 pixels on either measurement (1000x1000 pixels). Photo permissions are no longer required. TFG assumes if you submit an article, you have full permission to include any photographs used.
