FFGC and SCOUTING PATCH PROGRAM

The links below will take you to several examples of materials that could be shared with Districts and Garden Clubs to encourage them to reach out to Scouts and make connections with a local scouting organization.  A great deal of this material can be adapted for a club or district to fit what they are willing and able to commit to a Scouting group,  and then shared with a Scouting group or council to make this partnership a reality.  The goal in creating this proposal was to encourage and empower clubs and districts to see the value in partnering with these organizations.  Each District, Garden Club, and Scouting group has different needs; these are just suggestions.  Please do what works best for your collaboration.

Scouting America - Formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America, which now allows girls to join their ranks.

Girl Scouts of America- a women's organization with much better snacks!

FFGC has a patch available for when clubs and districts work with scouts.

Please register your scout(s), scout groups, packs or councils by filling out the Scouting Registration Form.  All forms should be filled out and returned to Jennifer Barber.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Barber, FFGC Scouting Liaison, at jenniferbarberffgc@gmail.com or 407-607-4500.
