The Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. recognizes the achievement of an individual, a club/circle or district that furthers the goals and objectives of the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc.; the Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc.; and National Garden Clubs, Inc. Awards celebrate excellence and achievement among garden clubs and individual members. Awards give us an opportunity to:
- give well-deserved recognition to members, clubs, and districts for their hard work and dedication;
- highlight the talents and creativity of our members;
- add to a group's cohesion and pride;
- give clubs credibility and visibility in the community;
- attract new members with fresh ideas and talents, all of which serve to strengthen clubs within the community.

The Adult and Youth Awards Handbooks have been updated (see links above). The updated Flower Show Related Awards Handbook will be available shortly. All awards are numbered and categorized. Use the Table of Contents to help you find what you want. Each award is explained in detail and all handbooks contain information on how to apply.
The Youth Awards Handbook contains information not only about Junior Gardener awards, but also information about Scout, Intermediate, High School awards and contests, and the Smokey Bear/Woodsy Owl Poster Contest.
APPLYING FOR AN FFGC STATE AWARD
When you’re ready to apply for a state award, read the appropriate Handbook (Adult, Youth or Flower Show Related). All the information necessary to apply for an award is contained in the relevant handbook. Applications must be submitted to the Awards Chair, Sylvia Swartz, by November 27, unless otherwise stated. DEEP SOUTH GARDEN CLUBS AWARDS INFORMATION |
You will find that, while we have many FFGC awards, they do not always fit the criteria to also be submitted to Deep South Garden Clubs, Inc. or National Garden Clubs, Inc. All applications MUST be submitted first to the Florida State Award Chair. She will forward your application, if merited. No exceptions.

NATIONAL GARDEN CLUBS (NGC) AWARDS INFORMATION |
Individuals and clubs do not apply to NGC directly. ALL Florida garden club award applications must be sent to the Florida state awards chair, Sandra Arnold. IF your application merits being sent to the National Garden Club, Sandra Arnold will forward your application for you. DO NOT apply directly outside of the state of Florida. You may view their awards handbook here, but do not use their application form nor send directly to them.
