UF/FFGC District V Short Course - Seeds, Weeds & Coleus

During this two day course, experts from the University of Florida and Gainesville will discuss various environmental and horticultural topics, including new varieties of coleus, basils and hot peppers, wildflower seed balls, the effect of Climate Change on Gardening, Landscaping for the Birds, Weeds and Invasive Exotics, Seed Saving, Wetlands and Shore plants and more. Tours include the Citra Plant Science Research Unit and the UF Wilmont Gardens (busses provided). This is also an NGC Multi-Refresher for Environmental, Landscape and Garden Consultants.

Registration begins June 12th at 5:30pm at the Springhill Suites Marriott, 4155 SW 50th Blvd., Gainesville, FL 32605 and information will be provided at that time. Bring walking shoes and a hat to protect from the sun.
